Woody Woodpecker

For a relatively dry spring it's extremely buggy, I mean thick clouds of black flies and all... but on the bright side the birds are just as numerous and there are literally a dozen or so of these guys all around the house. Last year I only caught a glimpse of a Pileated woodpecker here and there and this year we're more than making up for it.

Chloe So Pretty

Chloe loved Margery's roses while they were around and sat by them when ever we were in the kitchen. She always did the same thing, wait for us to begin dinner at the kitchen table, jump up, smell the roses, sometimes several, then sit prettily next to them.
