Flight into Atlanta

On the way back from Boulder, CO, flights were delayed due to thunderstorms around Atlanta. We flew in at sunset and it was a pretty magnificent, bumpy landing. More pics on Flickr - General Atomic

The Green Room

We discovered The Green Room in Burlington, VT. A really great find, off the beaten track with an eclectic menu, excellent food and service, good drinks. Hey, they even had my favorite gin - Hendrick's, and the local draft beers were good too. We were able to sit outside on an absolutely perfect evening and had a great and delicious time.
Here's a view of the cheese sampler, and cured meats dish -

Da Conch Shack

Our favorite eatery on the island, nothing beats a good conch fritter and a cold beer.

Vacation in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos

This is the beach where we rented our condo, it was so crowded when I snapped this picture.

Black Trumpet

Good food and fancy-schmansy drinks at the Black Trumpet in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The place looks empty because we were having a late dinner, we were practically the last people there. I love the really old basement style dining room, I had to take a picture of the old brick wall and thick wood beams.

Road trip

Mini Moo at the abandoned Hotel Adler in Sharon Springs, NY.

Having a swell time at the Ommegang Brewery, part of the Belgian Company Duvel. Damn good beer!

In Cooperstown, NY.

Lake Otsego, what was uncertain weather, turned out to be a pretty nice day.

A setting sun, and cocktails on the veranda of the American Hotel in Sharon Springs. Dinner was awesome too.
